From NorthEast RadioWatch at www.fybush.com on Aug 28, 2006:
"CFCY (630 Charlottetown) is now testing its new FM signal on 95.1. Once CFCY makes its move to FM, expected later this fall, Prince Edward Island will become the first Canadian province with no full-power AM signals at all. Will it be the only one for long?"
Granted, PEI is not exactly a major market but the idea of an entire province without AM is chilling. Could this trend eventually move south of the border?
