Is the My TV alive in the Boston area?

Just curious how MY TV is doing in the Boston demographic these days after their first season.
Here in the Roanoke area its on a digital sub channel and cant be seen unless you have an HD system, and if you have everbody tune's in on the other networks programing.

Your TV doesn't have to be HD to receive MY on another station's subchannel. Just digital, which is NOT the same as HD.

I don't think it's doing that well here, because it's seen on Channel 50 from Derry, NH. It's carried on all cable systems, but does not have very wide OTA coverage at all. And the picture quality on it isn't very good.

Yes, it is

DirecTV and Dish Network include MyTV New England (WZMY-50) in Boston locals.

It's a great station. I like the programming and what would they be without Al? God, I remember the WNDS days when Emergency! was on at 3pm. If you asked the average viewer in Boston, "Have you seen MyTv?" they'd most likely respond "Was it stolen?" ;D

They actually just got a new website if you are interested: http://www.mytvstation.tv/

Al Kaprilein's forecast is now online?!? Awesome! The man definitely has a great shtick.

I've always liked little TV 50 because it is the underdog that tries its best and manages to survive in the face of extinction. You've gotta respect that!
