IS "THE OFFICE" NOW ON ONE LEG ?

I have not been that impressed with Office episodes this season post Carell. Will this be their last
year? Was Carell wise to get out of the building before it all came falling down?

It seems the whole NBC Thursday night is going down. Have their series run out of new ideas and
now just becoming boring TV?

In my opinion, Steve Carell's departure is the main reason the show is falling down. The Michael Scott character was the spiritual center of the show. Robert California is just not as compelling - I get that he's an empty suit with an uncanny ability to convince people he has substance...but there's no way I can think of to make that consistently funny. It's very consistent with the kind of character James Spader usually plays, but not so consistent with the ridiculous characters of The Office.

The Will Ferrell character fit in better, but I guess there was no way Ferrell was going to be tied down to a TV series at this point in his career.

I gave up on The Office, and I've been disappointed with Park & Rec. this season. I still have Community on DVR that I have to get through.

For Parks & Rec - The whole Tom and his Entertainment-720 venture seems unbelievable. It seems it happens too often in TV. Take one aspect of a character (in this case it's Tom and his interest to be flashy and cool), and the writers have to push it to unbelievable and this case, unfunny.
