Is the "T-Man" done on KYLD on Sept. 18th?

Speaking with my source from inside the CC SF cluster on Friday gives me gossip: (I swap CBS Radio gossip with her)
The two year T-Man/KYLD contract ends this Thursday. The new management at Wild like him even more than the old ones but want him to move permanently to the Bay. The word is that T-Man has refused and is not all that interested in staying on in the Bay area. In fact he doesn't even do the once in a while visit to SF anymore. Some bickering has begun between CC SF management and Seattle and they may get San Ant. involved. It will be interesting to see if the T-Man show goes off the air in The Bay on Thursday. KYLD managment is trying to keep him on through at least the end of 2008 but hasn't gotten that approval yet. Stay tuned.

I know for a fact that T-man has been making 3 million per year for the past 2 years. He has to realize that noone is paying that anymore, anywhere, unless you're on at least 100 stations. He is on just 2.
In the same token, clear channel should do whatever it can to hold onto what little talent it has left. T-man is 1 of 3 or 4 true talented people left in the entire company.
My 2 cents is you wont be hearing T-man on Wild on Thursday. We'll see.

Pretty common for syndicated shows in the biggest markets to be paid quite a bit by the stations there. Bet Big Boy would want at least a million.

The "buzz" now is that if KYLD attempts to air the show on Monday that the "T-Man" will walk out. He was irate that, although the contract had expired, they still aired the show on Wild over the past two days. Stuff is hitting the fan and I hear Clear Channel heads in San Antonio told CC S.F. to move on to something else. I'll keep ya posted.
