Is the volcano in Iceland affecting AM FM & Shortwave DX?

All that dust in the air.

I'll be doing some DXing tonight & I'm hoping Iceland and Europe longwave and split freqs are booming in like locals thanks to the volcano scatter effect. I've always been a dreamer.

I dont know but Radio Netherlands was booming in like a local tonight before their midnight sign off. Usual mix of pop music.
