Is there a way I can view past Mediabase playlists for a certain station?

You know, as someone interested in alt radio, I was always curious how I'd be able to check archives of playlists of my local stations. Growing up I didn't know every single song that plays like I do now, so I feel like after 2005 it's a bit hard to find a lot of history for many stations in as radio magazines would become digital.

I've found a few pages but it's like members only. I'd absolutely love to see more of these.

Data services in any industry, whether it concerns the sales of breakfast cereals or the play of songs, is generally a paid service and requires a fee commensurate with the cost of gathering the information.

The best you are going to get is in music charts in trade magazines, starting with Billboard, Cash Box and Record World and extending to ones like R&R and Gavin.

Many, like R&R, had playlists or adds, moves and drops, of individual stations.

Try R+R / RADIO and RECORDS MAGAZINE - Music and radio industry journal for starters.

And then there is the very fun site ARSA | The Radio Surveys / Record Charts Site which has assembled thousands and thousands of radio station charts.

And the OP probably wouldn't be happy with the monthly payment I make to Mediabase to have access as a consultant. (Hint: It's about as much as I spend on groceries in an average month.)

The pages on the Wayback Machine appear to be from a period when Mediabase was releasing restricted information to R&R, similar to today's released 6+/12+ data by Nielsen
