Is there a way to..........

find out how many people are listening to a stream? Sometimes I am listening to a station and wonder how many other people are listening with me.... One way I have found is to listen with the SHOUTcast app on the iPhone. But I think the number of people listening listed on this app may be just people listening with SHOUTcast. Anyone have any ideas?

If the stream sources from a Shoutcast server you can access the stats page via the stream URL. Depending on how its set up you may not be able to see listener counts from relay servers.

It's been awhile since I've really configured Shoutcast so perhaps somebody can provide a better solution.
