I haven't found any. There are "on this day in history" sites but nothing that can be localized for states. I'm asking because maybe if someone finds one the folks at B101 can use it to try to sound like they're broadcasting in Rhode Island and B1 with the audience instead of just the music. When they run these "class of (insert year)" weekends it's like 48 hours of jocks reading album liner notes. Maybe instead of who sang lead for LRB or what band this singer got his start in or what happened in Budokhan they can relate to the listeners more. Whatever makes stations think that because people have music on that they want to hear talk about nothing but the music and the artists? I've figured out their tactic. Delocalize all content after morning drive so whatever happens down the line staffwise won't matter because someone in Seattle can do the show. Stop with the musicology. It's boring.
