Jack-FM 101.1 sounds like a mixture of WPLJ, WXRK-Rock and WAXQ-1043. There's so much overlapping between these stations.
Placing Jack-FM on a station that's doing respectably well in the ratings 12+ and 25-54 and that's in the top 11 in their revenue intake sounds like over programming.
Even if Jack-FM was placed on K-Rock or the NEW mix 102.7FM WNEW, how successful could those stations perform with the oversaturation of 70s, 80s and 90s music played all across the NY radio dial?
And with WPLJ modifying their playlist to include more 70s and 80s pop hits, and if Infinity drops Jack and returns CBS-FM to Oldies would that be the last time we'll hear Jack?
Thanks,
