Is This A (Free) Preview Weekend?

I haven’t had Sirius since the 6 month free trial with my new car ended last year, except for the selected channel free-bee period in early June (and, of course, the “Preview” channel, which is always there 8)).
However, this morning——as I occasionally do——I gave it a check and——lo and behold——everything seems “on” (even Howard)!
Is this some sort of “free preview weekend” (I didn’t get any mailing like I did with the June, and I didn’t see anything on their website), or did the subscriber monitor/controller inadvertently “turn me on”? :

Well, I don’t know what it was, but it’s gone: It was still on at 9:20pm last night; switched over to AM to do a quick bandscan; switched back at 9:24pm to see everything back to “Unsubscribed Channel”! :'(
Two possibilities I’m considering are

• The Sun has been acting up for the past week or so and has been messing with GPS——perhaps the controller’s signaling got screwed up, either erroneously sending my receiver an activation code or an unrelated signal got scrambled, resulting in an activation?

or

• I remember playing with the scan button the morning before, getting “Acquiring Satellite Signal” for a few seconds, then reverting to the “Preview Channel”——perhaps I stumbled upon some hidden “demo” code that activates a 5 day free trial?
  
  (Yeah, right! Not likely! : )

Oh well. 8)
