Of course they do. They're given choices:
"Every Breath You Take" or "Spirits in the Material World"
"You're Just What I Needed" or "My Best Friends Girl"
"Smokin'" or "Rock and Roll Band" (Here you can choose both if you like!)
"Roundabout" or "I've Seen All Good People"
"With or Without You" or "In the Name of Love" (Again, both is an option!)
You get the gist.
All sarcasm aside, they have indeed opened up the playlist a bit more of late, but they still have a long ways to go before they reach listenability. The only show that seems to have true DJ programming sense is Mimi Chen's Sunday "Peace, Love and Peace Pipe" show which has some very tasty choices (Great Job Mimi! I know you read this board).
I also noticed that Rita Wilde is doing her own 10@10 at 10pm, which is different than the one Larry Morgan does in the morning. I am not sure if she is following the same year or theme as the one in the morning, but she is the one back-announcing the songs as opposed to playing a tape of the morning program.
