Today, I heard music from Deep Purple, Charlie Daniels, Dio and Iron Butterfly, yes the LONG VERSION of you know what, plus music I have not heard in decades, titles and bands too numerous to mention. I have to say WYSP is on the back burner this weekend, now that Pierre won't be back until its over, hopefully, I can listen and enjoy. Should this music be played on sister station WMGK or should this be the new format of WMMR??

The word "format" is unknown at any Greater Media outlet. "Muddle" is the operative appelation.

Don't get too accustomed to listening to In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida, Devil Went Down To Georgia, Hush or other super-classics, though. The simple truth is probably that it was a random act perpetrated by a loose squirrel who wandered through the Programming offices of GM and simply wandered across the keyboard of the Selector computer.

That single squirrel seems to have more of a knack for programming, though, than a roomful of GM Programmers.

And a damn good one it is too! I have heard som many great tunes I would have nbever thought to have heard on MMR. Namely Motorhead's Ace Of Spades on Friday!!!

But...Ya Have To Ask Youself...

...if those tunes were the LISTENER'S choices...and, they're hardly ever or never played by MMR...isn't there a huge "DERR" to be uttered here?

"MMR...We Play What We Want; Screw The Listener's Taste"!
