Jack VP Kurt Johnson takes on KVIL Dallas PD duties
Johnson has been serving as CBS Radio's VP of programming for its "Jack" formats, and PD of KJKK (100.3) in Dallas. Now he'll add PD duties over AC sister KVIL (103.7) in the market, replacing Charley Connolly who was a casualty of last week's "Black Thursday" at CBS. This is Johnson's second stint at KVIL where he programmed from 2001-2004.
 
Same CC. Gets it. One of the good guys. He took KVIL to its highest numbers since the old Ron Chapman days. Station was #1 25-54 and Women 25-54 in the last book and hit those high marks in other books during his tenure in Dallas.
