Why in the world do the TV stations insist on having reporters drive around on the freeways whenever it rains? Today's waste of gas came from Channel 15 during their 11 AM news.
 
It's an additional way that they can tell you how bad the weather is AND that you shouldn't be out in it, while they are out in it.

The standups in a dust storm (a.k.a Jaime Cerreta most recently) are apparently getting old.
