Is too much negativity going to hurt news/talk?

Well it happen at at 6:45am this morning. I had to turn off Wpro. I've had it with the none stop ranting and news about the economy. I could not listen one more time to Bill Haberman(who i like)talk about how businesses are cutting out Xmas parties this year, Blue Cross is laying off people, blah blah blah. And you know right after that, Depetro's coming up with his take of how bad it is. Couple that along with the same callers , mostly bitter right wingers who are just starting to lay into Obama, and i think i've had enough for a while. So, the question is, will i be the only one moving away from the downer that is news/talk? If Depetros wife joins me in the boycott, Pro can expect to take a pretty good hit.
 
Well doesnt WPRO have Bill Haberman act silly and crazed on purpose? Its like the Depetro news.
I tend to agree with the thought that WPRO is being very negative. Its not just the righty callers, its everybody. Tara Grenihan , the pretend lib is just as bad, even worse. Ha, perhaps B 101 is a good idea.

Wow....awful short memories for everyone as during the Credit Union fun back in the early 90's, everything was negative around here (Marquette, Mollicone, Greater Providence Loan & Trust, etc).
Bill isn't acting, he is a genuinely great guy...you call it silly, I call it a unique and keen perspective on things.....WPRO HAS to be very negative, they are the only game in town! At least in the credit union crisis....you had Sherm, Kass, Mary Ann, Arlene, etc all talking about and to people in crisis....
 
I think the fairness doctrine is 100% going to happen, now that Obama won.
He promised it, I think?
