Is WAGA returning to CBS?

Or is this just a rumor? Ive read this on a couple of blogs, and on Wikipedia (although I don't trust wiki for a minute), that CBS was interested for a CBS O&O in Atlanta, and was interested in purchasing WAGA, and returning CBS programming after 17 years.

Firebird, the laws now allow what is called douopoly. Gannett owns WXIA and WATL. You can own more than one TV station in the market. Then if you have to preempt any affiliate broadcast shows locally, they can be broadcast on the other channel.

I know about duopolies. My point is that FOX won't sell WAGA. CBS would have to shell out some big bucks to get WAGA. The only other stations in play for a duopoly are WPCH, assuming Time Warner would sell, and WGCL, which could be a possibility. Throw WPXA into the mix if ION finally goes under. CBS and FOX would both like to get their hands on a second station in Atlanta, and it may eventually happen. And with ownership of the AJC, Cox can't buy anything else in Atlanta.
