Is WEDY 65 gone?

I just noticed that the 100000watts.com web site shows WEDY New Haven (channel 65) as silent. Indeed, the CPTV web site does not list WEDY any longer, although they list WEDY-DT (channel 6).

So is the analog signal on channel 65 gone, replaced by the digital signal on channel 6?

And why is WEDH-DT (channel 45) not on the air? It's funny that CPTV would have digital stations in Bridgeport, New Haven and Norwich on the air but not in Hartford.

According to Fybush.com, Channel 65 is back and better than ever.

They just received (late last week or yesterday) a permit to move from RF channel 6 to RF channel 41. It comes with a significant power increase, about 3x what's necessary to make up for the higher frequency.

Let's hope! Here in New Britain's south end, I've never received a signal from WEDY-TV, whether analog or digital. Even with a power increase, I doubt I'd receive that improved signal some 30 miles away either.

WEDY-DT has been on since the DTV transition.
It's just really low powered on VHF 6. (They were power restricted due to FM protections they needed to keep.)

I'm surprised, considering that WSAH is on RF channel 42.

No biggie. Boston has 18, 19, 20, then 29,30,31,32 and 41,42,43. Providence has 12 and 13. The clean QAM signal and no carrier gives much versatility.
