Yeah, by the sound of it, they do seem to be sticking with that format. For how long is anyone's guess. I have to admit that the logic of doing this escapes me, but as someone else said in another thread, at least it's a different format than you usually hear on small-market FM.
To me, this market seems saturated with country stations already. We have TXT, Catfish, the Bull, and ZZK. Can the market really support yet another one? If I could be so bold, here's what might work. Flip WFFN to WDGM's oldies format, and flip WDGM to sports talk, then make a strong push to get carriage agreements for as many games as possible. UA football would be ideal, but almost any UA sports would do. Not that I'm a huge fan of sports talk, but I bet it could make money.
