Is WKIP and Clear Channel Poughkeepsie's News Now Network Supplied?

First I want to apologize for forgetting the (former?) WKIP & Clear Channel Poughkeepsie’s morning news man’s name. I have just developed a mental block even though I head it hundreds of times. I have not heard him on WKIP in the past few weeks. Lately the ‘local’’ news has changed in tone and substance. There is little Poughkeepsie, and Mid-Hudson Valley news. The news is more like a generic New York State News, with perhaps some regional and national news thrown in.
I was wondering if perhaps Clear Channel had let go what was left of the Poughkeepsie group’s news staff, substituting a generic CC network supplied report. It may save them some money but WKIP is no longer as they say the areas new leader. In fact if I am correct they have become one of the worst. They should drop the news from their News Talk moniker

Hudson and Poughkeepsie get custom cut newscasts from WGY in Albany and have done so for a number of years now. The anchors you hear there are the same you hear on WGY. I don't believe they have any local news staff left. If they do, it's probably a part timer that doubles as a producer.

Cameron Hendrix still does the news on KIP for a good amount of the day then the WGY folks take over after that

Cameron Hendrix, that is him. He used to do morning drive , with Poughkeepsie area news. Although his report is likely recorded ,Morning drive is the most important part of the day. You would think they would have left him there, instead of offering this state wide news. The announcer does say his name for WKIP news. Other stations like the Catskill group come right out with saying WGY news.
WKIP can't be the area's news leader if they are getting a feed from Albany. How cheap can CC get.
I guess I am being nostalgic but I remember when the local AM stations actually had a news department. That devolved to a person reading stories lifted from the Poughkeepsie Journal, with attribution. Now we don't even get that.
