Is WKOS/Johnson City, TN Variety Hits?

I received an e-mail tip this morning suggesting that WKOS (Citadel's 104.9 The Peak) in Johnson City, TN should be listed as a Variety Hits station. I checked on stoneage.yes.com, and there is a pretty diverse music mix on WKOS, and it looks to me like it should be listed. The station's positioning statement is "Just Great Songs", which seems to fit. Anyone have any more info on it?
______________

If they said "Classic" or "70s" or something to pin it down to the Classic Hits era, I might be inclined to go along with that line of thought. "Just Great Songs" to me seems to indicate that they're going for songs they consider great, with genre and era not a factor. I'm going to include them on the big list, but clearly the positioning isn't as clear as it is with the JACK-FM or BOB-FM brands.
______________

Definately

Yes... Peabo Bryson, Madonna, Wham! (and that's only looking back a couple hours) mixed in with the other usual classic hits suspects looks like a genuine Jack-like format to me, more so than WMMO (which I really think doesn't count as Jack-like, but that's just me.)
