IS WMID BACK ON 1230

I am listening to them on line and the female voice just said Classic Oldies for Seaville WMID 1340 and 1230AM at around 6:15PM. Is this an old liner that came up only on the internet or is this fact. I do hope so because 1230 comes in great in South Philly but its too late now to tune 1230, with all the skywaves.

Listening this morning, there was regular seperate programming. It was probably an old I.D. that was hiding in the shadows of the memory. I've heard an accidental WUSS 1490 I.D. played on WTKU. It's just one they missed.

Fisher has been running wmid ID's all summer, I caught them during the Phillies broadcasts. He hasn't had any regard for wcmc since he bought the group from Regina Henry. They ran a bunch of games with no one manning the board and you would hear the network crowd noise in the back ground during local stop set fills. Then when the board op showed up, they played only wmid ID'S, not combo ID's. I heard that he was trying to unload the wcmc signal and tower site.

Just an FYI: The Phillies games are run by a computer system supplied BY THE
Phillies. There is never a board op, and they are simulcast on both WMID and
WCMC with proper IDs. If you heard strangeness, thank Bill Gates.

Excuse me but there is a board op that watches over the LOCAL spot placement.

When he isn't available, or Jim the pd..they just let it fly. With no local spots plugged

in, it's like your at the game.

And the ID's are WMID...exclusive...with no mention of WCMC Wildwood.

If the system is a Phillies automation, someone needs a little programming 101

Maybe the new owners will treat WCMC a little respect and buy the transmitter at

10th streeta pair of rubber boots

All the IDs I heard this year had "WCMC Wildwood" spoken at the beginning, followed by the "1340 WMID" jingle with "Atlantic City" dubbed over before the (ding!) at the end.
