Is WOGL safe???

If Infinity can flip a station that is doing better in the ratings than WOGL by almost a full point, can a format flip on WOGL be far behind. Can WOGL be the Active Rocker of the future??? I would love to hear Harvey talk up Disturbed LOL :)

If there are any changes to WOGL-98.1, it will be either to "Jack" (inspie of Greater Media's WBEN-95.7 being in the market), or more likely to a 1970's/1980's (with a few late 1960's songs sprinkled-in) version of oldies, much like the tweak recently made to sister station KFRC in San Francisco.

You're talking about 12+ numbers?!

The fact that Greater Media already made the Jack switch, should help shield it...I agree that if there's anyhting, just minor tweaking...Infinity also owns WODS / Oldies 103.3 in Boston which is a ratings powerhouse and they haven't touched it (Entercom made the switch to a Jack format last spring)...

I would be very surprised if Infinity switched WOGL to Jack. In fact, there is a very high chance they won't. Ben is here and they're actually doing well (12+ wise, not sure about 25-54 though). There is the possibility of WOGL tweaking the playlist to do a more 70s/80s version of oldies, but WOGL is doing pretty well still. Would Infinity mess with that? Maybe. But, it looks like WYSP is taking the plunge soon, not WOGL.<P ID="signature">______________

Your forgetting. WOGL isn't about to lose its big money maker/ratings getter. Take stern off YSP, and would it still be a full point ahead of ogl?
