That's a clue. It is only one year.

If the Yankees were serious about staying with WCBS, they would have locked in more than one year.

If Disney purchases a major stake in the Yankees, then the rights would start with the 2014 season on WEPN-FM, (I still hate those call letters) and that would take them through to the end of the 98.7 deal in 2022.
