Is WROR Playing More 80s Music The Past Few Weeks ?

Do you think WROR ratings will increase again

I personally think that all depends on the percentage of people that go back to work in an office setting vs. those who simply decide to work from home. Of course, you also have to fsctor in those who even still hsve jobs as well!

On a side note, I did catch WROR playing "Beautiful Day" by U2 during this past week.

The numbers we see online are not "ratings". They are "share". And that means the percentage of actual radio listeners, not the percentage of total people. Ad agencies do not buy share; they buy ratings.

As long as the Persons Using Radio (we call it PUR and it means the number of people who actually listen) is below the pre-virus norm, shares are irrelevant.

For example, a 6 share in April is less than a 4 share was in March. While listening levels are coming back, there is a whole lot more going on in our country that makes me doubt that the upcoming new norm will be the same as the old one.

But for the moment, looking at shares while the virus is still incurable is simply not of any real use.
