Island 106 Site

Thank you. I'm in the area for the weekend and saw the Laird Street tower yesterday. Going north should really help WILN since half their signal goes into the Gulf now.

i feel bad for the people that live in those new houses behind that tower--4 FMs and an AM--hope their wires are shielded; or they'll hear ESPN Radio every time they pick up their phone...

There appear to be 2 actual houses on the property, one painted the same pink as one of the transmitter buildings.

Does anyone know who owns the tower? I'm asking because Double O's 105.1 is on the tower, and Double O's WPFM is giving fits to Island 106. Is Magic Broadcasting the landlord of Double O on that tower?

neither own the site....it is owned by an individual (a non-broadcaster....he used to be in broadcasting many years ago)....his son lives on the site in the trailer

They'll be the only ones that hear it then :D
