Mountain Dew. I blame this all firmly on a cup of Mountain Dew soda.

BJRadio was founded on Long Island, N.Y. by a couple guys who were found to be very entertaining with their words. With this, they agreed to make it a common goal, to bring out their natural talents to the public... on a MASS scale.

Thats what our fearless leader, BizzaCore, states in our website, and i agree. To an extent, of course.

You see, Biz is absolutely ADDICTED to Mountain Dew. i dont know why, i think its nasty stuff, but he was sitting at a Taco Bell drinking a huge jug of the stuff when the idea smashed him in the head like a fat girl sitting on a barca-lounger.

In December of '06 we had secured a guest spot on a local college radio station here in Suffolk County (WRAM 89.3) to a warm reception, and after a handful of shows there, we found we had a bit of a cult following amongst DJRatSick's listener base and decided to begin setting up an internet broadcast studio in a little one bedroom apartment on the southern coast of the island, nothing special, but a bit more than most other talk radio broadcasters have set up. With this in hand, we had broadcast our debut show from our own server to a very entertained 10 people. Those 10 people passed the word on to their freinds and (regrettably) their families and by the next week we had found our listener base had doubled.

By January we were ready to debut on the then-fledgling Cringe Humor Radio Network (www.cringehumor.net) with a couple of other, much more well known shows, but with our insanity both on and off-air we wouldn't be contained to the bottom of the roster, our much-anticipated milk challenge shows (the last bit of which can be viewed http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eXCsQgdAUPo right there), our electrifying news readings, local band guest appearances, cutting-edge humor and stunning good looks (ok i made that last bit up, but you get the point) had apparently created a formula for success.

the Cringe Humor Radio Network, Along with our sister shows (Lunatic Radio, Chaos Radio, The Aristocrats, Cousin Joe, Hooter and Greenway, Conte and Kenny and the Schachter Factor) have all grown in popularity at a frightening speed, under the parent company Cringe Humor, which is well-known in the stand-up comedy circuit by hosting monthly shows at Caroline's Comedy Club.

We still do our shows in that tiny little apartment, it gets nearly unbearbly hot in even the mildest weather and i suppose that makes us a bit loopy. But hey, Whatta ya wanna do?

CHRN has recently signed on with Torian Wireless, and is currently one of the only (if not, the only) comedy content providers on their system. We hope to be with Cringe forever, they treat us well because we treat you well. Give us a listen at www.bjradio-online.com

And remember, no fat girls. The car will scrape.

Love,
Bill
