This is a ugly habit, that for some reason, a lot of jocks, tend to adapt.
I also worked at a radio station , with someone who did that all the time.
Its very small market sounding, and just doesnt work..

Never really noticed it. But I, for one, enjoy listening to Bill.
 
LOL, I always figured it was just me who felt that way. You've just mentioned
the single most annoying personal habit I've ever heard anyone display on-air.

What irks me is when DJs incorrectly use the word "entitled."

"We just listened to Bubba's new hit 'I Can't Sing' off his album ENTITLED 'Crap'."
