Hello All,
For years now, I've enjoyed posting my thoughts on this site. This forum gave me a chance to share my thoughts and learn more about the radio business. During the course of my stint here, some feathers may have been ruffled by the things I've posted on here. If this is the case, I want to offer my sincere and humbled apology to you. I didn't mean to hurt and/or harm anyone in anyway.
I still plan on posting my thoughts on here, as I continue to learn more about the radio business. I'll be more careful with the words I use in the future and will think before I speak.
For those who have enjoyed my posts, I want to say thanks for enjoying them. For those who have corrected me in some way and/or got on to me for the things I have said, thanks for your rebuke. I needed it.
I'm still fascinated by the radio business and see a lot of good in it. I did enjoy my stint as a radio announcer, back in the late 90s, when AFR Selma gave this slightly handicapped person a chance to speak to their listeners and Minister to them. I'll always be grateful to the late Mr. Dean Wilson, Mr. James Hamner and Mr. Richard Wilson for this wonderful opportunity. If God does allow it and things do work out, I would like to someday do this again. While I'm waiting for that door to open, I'm going to carry on with my writing career and hope that this part of my Ministry will soon take off and have even bigger success. (A.K.A. Finding a publisher for a book I just recently written and releasing a new Devotional Book, that's now in the works.)
I know that starting up a new radio station, from scratch, takes money and time. If God does allow me this opportunity, to do it, then I will be rejoicing and celebrating this wonderful blessing He has bestowed on me. My presentation will be an outreach music program for the Youth population, if the door does open. (Something like WAY FM from Nashville) I want to air a program that'll relate to this population and minister to them in some way.
As I continue to learn about the radio business, I want to thank everyone for all there responses. Even if they ruffled my feathers, I still want to say thanks anyway.
