It Takes Time

Perhaps this is why Entercom has yet to announce a new PD for WKSE:

<blockquote>
From Inside Radio 9-28-05

Payola is back in the headlines, thanks to FCC Commissioner Adelstein.
He says "we need to do something about" what he says is the widespread payola uncovered by Eliot Spitzer. Adelstein - back in Philadelphia a week after his appearance at the NAB Radio Show - also blasts consolidation and says "thank God the court here put a hold on" the FCC's 2003 ownership rules. Adelstein spoke at Drexel University, on a panel sponsored by the Rudman Institute for Entertainment Industry Studies and the LeBow College of Business. Commissioner Michael Copps couldn't make the trip - his wife is suddenly ill.

It might also be that Sue O'Neil is watching the store through the Fall book and Entercom is getting a "two fer" at her expense. Not the brightest maneuver on E'com's part because Star may be at risk to losing listeners to Jack.
