Its Baaack!

Yes it's back sort of... I listened for about 3 hours yesterday morning. Sweeet 8) .... AND its in high quality CD-type sound... CD-quality is soooooo important for web streamers. Its apalling that some webcasters still think someone is gonna listen to 20kbps stream which sounds worse than music on AM.
I'm looking forward to AT on the station.

That was the first thing I noticed -- the excellent sound quality. My wife didn't believe it was a web stream... she's so used to the low quality stuff.

Plus, I think Brad is a cool guy.

HEY Rob!! I was working late last night, on my drive home tuned in to KFI John Ziegler and I heard you do the news!! Excellent work! Good to see you off the beach for a week anyway. I also found it very funny that after your 7:30 report, the next voice I heard was that of Doc Bailey voicing a spot for laser surgery! Small world, eh? Good Luck....
PS I'll bet you'd do fine if you were a jock on Brad's station.... Internet radio is still the future for many when they can figure out a business model that works and when they can figure out an inexpensive portable mode!
Cheers! :)

Thanks! The KFI people have been great -- and as a news junkie myself it's just the coolest thing in the world to be able to do it.

Absolutely! High quality audio.  Essential.  Imho, the 20/32kbs music streams will be the first to fall by the wayside as web radio matures.  The stream CC provided for 570/690 sounded like pure garbage.  Now this sounds better on my PC (or laptop) at home in Chicago than it did in my rental car radio on trips to So-Cal.  Promising beginning!
