Just tuned in to Power this morning and heard (the REAL version) of AMERICAN TOP 40 w/Ryan Seacrest. It apparently started at 7:00am and obviously runs to 11. But, wow how long has it been since Atlanta had the real CHR version....(8, 9, 10 years)? Not sure.
But, what's REALLY weird is that now, I'm noticing just how many songs on AT 40 that Power still doesn't play. I'm hearing a lot of songs for the first time that have been on charts for for weeks! Even way up the chart, songs like "Home" by Phillip Phillips will play for the first time, ever on Power...(via AT 40).
In fact, just in the last 45 minutes, they played:
MEGAN & LIZ/Bad For Me
THE READY SET/Give Me Your Hand
CHRIS WALLACE/Remember When
TRAIN/50 Ways To Say Goodbye
MIGUEL/Adorn
....(ALL of which have never played on Power before)
But, it's all just interesting to me and these are not actual complaints...(Per se'). Cuz trust me, I'm glad to hear AT 40 back on, in it's true form in Atlanta.
What's next? Tomorrow, maybe Atlanta will discover fire??
