If you are a Ron Lundy fan from the CBS-FM days, let's go back to 10 years ago this week.

Ron Lundy did his final show on CBS-FM, I haven't had a chance to listened to his final show with Ron, because I used to love Ron Lundy since he was doing late mornings on CBS-FM. I remembering listening to Ron since I was a youngster back in my school years when I was listening to CBS-FM during my summer break.

I remember his mascot like Willard the Duck. I guess that Willard sounded a lot like Donald Duck, but if you compared to Willard and Donald, that might be the same voice. I missed Ron Lundy when he was on CBS-FM during his final show after all these years.

Starting in 1984 as a late morning jock following Harry Harrison. You know Ron and Harry are best friends, and so does Dan Ingram, one of his best friend after Ron left for his Saturday afternoon show.

It's been 10 years since Ron Lundy has been retired from the New York airwaves at CBS-FM. He is still living in Mississippi, but he is not coming back to do the "New York Radio Greats" show for one night.

It's the end of an era for Ron Lundy for NYC radio, and the beginning of a new life in Mississippi.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe that Dan Ingram and Ron Lundy are best of friends. Ron and Harry may be very close, but Ron and Dan go back to the pre-WABC days of WIL in St. Louis and KBOX in Dallas, Texas. Even George Michael worked with Ron and Dan at WIL. I believe Harry was in Peoria, Il. at the time.
 
Ron Lundy was one of the most enjoyable listens on radio. He is missed and the point for me when CBS-FM started to change forever.
