It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas

Sunny 104.5 put a countdown to Christmas on their website. http://www.sunny1045.com

Let's take guesses as to when Sunny and B101 will start caroling this year.

My guess is that Sunny does a preview weekend the weekend before Halloween, and B101 goes all-Christmas in the middle of the first week of November, and Sunny follows suit a few hours after B101.<P ID="signature">______________

The countdown has been there for a while.

In think the move to Christmas music will go the same way as last year. Sunny will have a Christmas weekend, and then flip to it the next week. I don't think B is willing to go any earlier then they already do with there Christmas flip.

Seeing how today is July 25th, I was expecting this thread to say that Sunny is playing Christmas music today. Wouldn't suprise me, I think they had a weekend last July inwhich they played some Christmas music.

I doubt either of them will do anything before Halloween! In fact, anything before the first week of November would be inviting a serious backlash.

I think the way they've been doing it is fine. Usually it's sometime during the 2nd week of November, right?

Playing Christmas Music Would Certainly Cool Things Down.
I Predict They Will Start Playing Christmas Music
A Week Before Halloween Because Christmas Music Is Scary

Unless Clear Channel flips 104.5 to something other than Sunny, Christmas music will definitely be on the dial before Thanksgiving. And probably on two frequencies.
