It's Beginning To Sound A Lot Like Xmas - In Mid-October

"Easy 93" WEZW has done this the past 3 years ...
They broke off from the WTTH simulcast in October 2009, and played Christmas music until a day or two after Christmas and then debuted the main easy listening format ...
Last year, they started the Christmas music around Halloween ..
So, this is turning out to be a tradition for them ...

Love it! It's never too early for Christmas music.

So I guess Easy 93.1 is the first station in the country to go all-Christmas this year. Excluding WALK 97.5 which played Christmas music on April Fools Day.

You're insane! Let's at least get through Halloween and Veterans Day.

So Easy is already in the holiday spirit. You would think WJRZ would be the first ones to do it to get their numbers up there ::)

If WJRZ was smart, they would do Christmas music now, and then debut a new format afterwards ..
But, it's WJRZ ..

If WJRZ was smart, they would be "Oldies 100" tomorrow playing 60's thru early 80's.

If Clear Channel is bringing "oldies" back, GM would be smart to do the same thing

That is way to early for Christmas music. I am a fan of it. It does put me in the Christmas spirit, but we first have to celebrate Halloween and (my favorite holiday) Thanksgiving.
