It's official: 92.3 K-Rock is back!

talk about advertisement - on the beach in margate city , new jersey , i saw a plane pulled banner saying k-rock is back ... margate is south of a.c. .. maybe the banner was for the new yorkers that come to margate now-a-days

Does anybody know if K-Rock will broadcast in HD? All other CBS owned stations in NYC are in HD. Would there be a 92.3-HD2?

I hope in their marketing, they don't forget about us ct people. In most cases, The NYC FM'ers Don't come to southwest Connecticut.

Umm is K-Rock Signal that Strong?

I know there is at least 1 A.C. Station that reaches up to NYC WFPG? (not 100% sure on the Call) Well the one right next to HOT97 that interferes with it's Signal even way up in West Orange.

No, you can't get any of the NYC FM stations in the Atlantic City area. They usually fade around exit 70 on the parkway.

WFPG are the calls. The only reason why you could get them in West Orange is because you are on that hill. In my car, I can get most of the Philly FMs once I'm on top of the hill.

I thought Free-FM already did broadcast in HD. The HD-2 side is still K-Rock 2 though.

92.3 has never broadcast in HD, going back to its first stint as K-Rock. It doesn't make much sense to me, considering that they have a station ready to go in K-Rock 2 that they could load up onto one of the HD channels.

As far as flying a plane over the beaches that far south in the Jersey Shore, the rationale is that most of the beach-goers there are from the NYC/Northern NJ area, where K-Rock's signal comes in.
