Bruno will do damage because they will sell his show with or without ratings.
The biggest problem WPEN will have is that Bruno isn't on in am drive on the east coast. I think if he was up against Cataldi and Co..he would get ratings because that show is very limited and has no competition. Bruno's national stuff has nothing to do with any lack of appeal. He does a fun radio show and has guests and phone calls and energy that WIP has been lacking. People in Philly don't know any better and when they hear Bruno and his contacts and more Philly guests on his show in 1 week than WIP has had on in a decade, they'll know what great sports talk is about.
You are all sucked in by WIP dominance. WIP that way due to lack of competition, not because they are great.
Philly has only 1 choice..other cities with little sports interest have 3 or more sports stations competiting. Wake up and smell reality!
The show that will really bomb in Philly is ROME. Who's gonna listen to that crap after Bruno is off at noon?
