How is TTK going to handle all the bad blood between Jay Severin and Howie Carr. Severin has been attacking Howie's anti-intellectual show from day one...rightfully so.

Is Jay Severin going to be a hypocrite and now say he really didn't mean all that he said? hmmm.

So, now 96.9 has Carr "Water Crackers" Michael "Graham Crackers" on the same station. That is real carbo-loading...or is that a load of ....

that's OK, it happens to me as well...in my case when I type very fast I get spelling mistakes, etc.

I hope they can complement each other. My general sense is that Severin is a 'macro' (national politics) guy while Carr is a 'micro' (local politics) guy. But they both rightly trample on the whole 'Big Government is your Savior' mantra that the fools on the loony Left love to swoon to.

good point. Severin used to be on WRKO before; first, when Gene Burns left his WOR-syndicated
nightly show after a contract dispute, Severin was plugged in as fill-in, etc, and later WRKO
had Jay on late nights. So they're reunited and no more jokes about a guy doing his show from
his basement in Long Island.

Now he does it from Manchester-by-the-Money.
Meanwhile, Howie gets to be down the street from the RIVAL paper, the Globe.

Remember when a Program Director of an FM that was supposed to go talk (they had Howard Stern) allegedly sent airchecks of Opie & Anthony calling his host the "N Word" on WAAF, only to embrace those jokers,
demote the minority person, and force the minority person to shake O & A's hands.

The euphemism for hypocrisy, from their lips anyway, "Radio is a business."
