Heard Fitz over the weekend on The Wolf. Besides having a delivery style that's about 15 years too young for the station, all he did was give out his name and solicit requests almost every freakin break he did. Tell me again why he's so amazing. Is it a case of self-importance? C'mon all you Fitz apologists...I wanna hear what's so special about him.

You answered your own question. He just happens to know the PD and the PD doesn't know Talent. Just look at his track record after he left KISS. It appears the Wolf has peaked and the slow ride down the trail has begun to the glue factory.

When the hell did they start making glue out of wolves?

Cheap glue. It "Fitz" the talent

Haters haters and more haters when it comes to the FITZ

He was offered Kraddick's job...do you know of anyone else who has gotten an offer like that?? He sounded GREAT on the Wolf. And he has the energy that the station needs. Maybe Cook realizes what the station USED to be and is trying to get it back. A station that is formatted like a TOP 40 but plays country music. You may not like the guy (FITZ) but all of you who deny his talent are just jealous. You can't deny his on air work...he's one of the best young people in the industry...maybe you're just mad cause you're one of the old people in the business and you're on your way out.

Yeah, it takes a lot of talent to solicit requests every break and say nothing topical. Wolf's doing just fine as it is - #3 12+. I'm no super stud, nor am I "old and on my way out" but if that's the best you've got I can run circles around you.

Even untalented jocks get prime gigs. Look at Kim Stewart's run at KVIL. Did she belong in PM drive? Not any more than I'd belong in mornings. How about Mel's short run in middays over at KSCS after Nadine was run outta Dodge as another example.

Good litmus test for you. If you're truly talented you a) don't stay at a station that has zero chance of competing with the big boys (KRBV) - you move up and b) you don't spend a year ping-ponging around looking for a gig only to land weekends because your old buddy needed a part-timer and you were available.

Amen Bluescreen. One thing about Fitz,he loves to promote himself in numerous discussion groups under assorted names. as for Cook. His track record has been derailed many times over and he inherited a station on solid ground. Give him time to crumble it,not build it.
