I feel sorry for her.
WSAR is a HELL HOLE...
Paul Giamarco left WSAR for lower pay and less power at WPRO.
The owners(the Karoms) Hector, and Geoff Wite run WSAR.
4 workers quit there last year, because of working conditions.
I don`t like the Idea of anyone going there and being belittled.
The reason Miss Rodrigues was hired was to do 2 jobs. You DON`T do 1 at WSAR.
It`s not a happy place. If she doesn`t step on any toes ,it will make things
alot easier for her.
Good Luck,
Fallriveractive.

I've worked there as well. She definitely took a step down. I guess she was so desperate to have her own show that she feels it was worth it. However I'm afraid that once she works there for a few months she will realize the mistake that she made.

Oh Great. What about Tony?
I actually bought a Seacran radio to hear his show. Is Wsar going to let him go? Oh thats just great! I wish Keri well, but what about Tony Farr?
I would hope Wsar somehow keeps him. Has anyone heard anything on that?
Has Wsar said anything offically ?

A year ago when she started filling in, a number of people said she was going to have to choose between her role on the B and talk. It seems like she's made her decision - the one most thought she would take. I guess I'm more excited about this than the average person on this board because I've heard what she did in Worcester. I think you underestimate her.

We all have to start somewhere. I started at a crappy little station in Indiana and ended up at the biggest station in the northeast. Most people in radio know that sometimes you have to take a step down in terms of market size to take a step forward in position. Big market afternoon guys who take a morning gig in the smaller market, etc.

Maybe it will change with her running the programming.
