It's Pratt!!

The intrepid KLL posted the following about Pratt at PhoenixAirchecks.com: http://www.phoenixairchecks.com/dave-pratt-eager-to-return-on-air/

I guess the only question left to answer is when are we having a "Welcome Back Pratt" bbq?? ;D

With all his dough, he should buy Lumberyard 14~Forty and re-brand it as Red Radio 14~Forty and keep it rockin' all night long. The Nurse and I'm sure Gumpdusky would cut him a deal ;) Imagine a barbeque on the shores of the crosscut canal!

Don't forget to have him bump up the RF for us Lumberyard-deprived EV listeners. The hamster running on the generator wheel must be getting very old and tired by now and probably needs the overnights to recoup. Maybe we install a four-gang wheel and buy three more hamsters.

So now the Prattster wants us to give him a BBQ? I thought it was the
other way around!

Akbar's idea of the "canal by the lumberyard" for a location sounds good
though. Mmmm, roasted lamptimer over an open pit. ;)

Lets all give him our real names, that's not creepy!

My name is Hans Delbrook, and my wife is Abbie Normal.

If Tim & Willy (KNIX KMLE Morning Show Team) are any indication, Pratt might receive a rather lukewarm reception when it comes to ratings, when and if he returns to the air. While Mark Curtis claims that people ask him about Pratt all of the time (which could very well be true), listeners have terrible long-term memories and short attention spans. If Pratt does return, what station is going to want to invest in a major media buy to promote a single jock (I'm sorry, Mr. Pratt, on-air personality)??

There is a one-year option remaining on his contract, which CBS could pick up and extend his vacation into next year--not likely to happen. Or, CBS could release him from his contract and free him to work for another station. The question is which station picks him up, if any? Or does he start serving lunch at Sanderson Ford, star in their commercials, and do a weekly podcast from home? Inquiring minds want to know. ;D
