Good morning Portland!

Thankfully it's Sunday, I needed those extra Press Herald pages to ward off the cool morning breeze! Before I get too involved in this bottle of Carolan's i found behind a dumpster on Marginal Way... wanted to bring up a couple of topics.

First, has WBLM given up on the A to Z game? Looks like Frank is doing it up but the Blimp is doing some feature on albums. Pray tell, does the typical diary-filler-outter care much about albums? Granted nobody wants to hear the same warmed-over A to Z again but WBLM's choice of book-opening programming is interesting, and I'm not thinking in a good way.

Also, what of the Nassau-WEEI thing? As of right now, it's all status quo... will Nassau replace ESPN on AM with the new sports station or will they deep six one (or more) of their FM formats in the coming days/weeks/months?

As a great bunch of men named Asia once said, "only time will tell!"

Thanks for your time, and as always, go forth and give us some good radio, Portland!

Cheers,
OldPort Wino

P.S. How many bottles will I need to save up to buy WCYI from the Last Bastion Station Trust? Or am I better off looking for business opportunitiues in frosty Alpena, wink wink?

If I have a couple of carts-full left over, maybe I can buy some programming ideas off our good friend Argy.

am wondering the same thing. It was in mid-August when this deal was announced (the 17th I think) and it was said "next month" it would happen. Well, it's now the 21st of "next month" and new ratings period I believe
and no changes...?
