It's Septemeber and that means!....

It's already time to start predicting who will have the #1 song of the year at CHR/Pop!

I say Mariah pulls yet another feat in her comeback and takes the year end #1 spot. However, wouldn't it be amazing if DHT gives dance fanatics something to rejoice and takes the #1 slot themselves! And we can't count out the P*ssycat Dolls or Kelly Clarkson either.

As much as I dislike her, I have to give it to Mariah. With that many breakout hits, there's no way she's not gonna take it. I'm calling Kelly Clarkson a close second and Ciara third. The Dolls only had one song... and it didn't do well enough to make it to #1 in my book. D.H.T., while hot, also only had one song, and while they may surprise me and make it into the top 5, I doubt they'll get within the top 3. My calls for the top 5:

1) Mariah Carey - We Belong Together
2) Kelly Clarkson - Since U Been Gone
3) Ciara - 1, 2 Step (or Goodies, I don't know which)
4) Gwen Stefani - Hollaback Girl
5) D.H.T. - Listen To Your Heart (Dance Version)

Watch me be way off :)<P ID="signature">______________

On American top 40:
1. Kelly Clarkson Since You've Been Gone.
On Media base:
1. We belong together Mariah. I'll leave my reasoning for that to your imaginations.
