It's snowing! Who's covering it? / Who got it right?

We're at just over 2 inches here on Long Beach Island and it's been snowing since before 1:00.

Winter Weather Advisory is in effect 'till 4a.m.

Shocking! Snow in January! It's like rain in July. lol

I believe with 2" of snow on the ground, you drive to Wawa (going only 30% of the posted speed limit) and look at the milk and bread. It's not until 3 or 4" do you actually buy it.

Good Gravy!!! This has to be up there under the "ALL-time Classic Posts" category...

And the Grammy GOES TO:

"JerseyShor"

::)

Toooooooo funny!

A foot later they got the streets cleared pretty well.

You'll get no argument from me. Like I said, I was impressed with how they got the streets cleared as well as they did, and in a timely fashion.

Oh, my bad, this snow storm, which KILLED AT LEAST ONE PERSON didn't effect North Jersey so I guess it wasn't noteworthy after all....

Radio 411 and sethjamz were right after all...

Perhaps I missed something...but WHERE did I specify my location?? Perhaps I noted in hieroglyphics that I live in a specific region of the state and just don't recall it. We know Jason... apparently it snowed in Beach Haven/Tuckerton where YOU hail from and therefore it was a huge story. No one was disputing the fact that there *should be* in a perfect world, full-service coverage to one's COL and surrounding areas but in 2010 with all the canned/garbage programming cluttering the dial???? THAT is what makes it a joke. The only REAL source of news for NJ is 101.5 and even on weekends their news coverage has been tremendously scaled back. It's winter, it snows...USE COMMON SENSE!! Or maybe buy a NOAA Weather Radio and maybe you can catch some distant freqs on skip there too and relish in the glory...

;)

Indeed 411, like you I did not state where I was from, nor does it have anything to do with what I replied...
I was referring to the over done TV coverage. Look we , live & work in a 24 hour news at our finger tips world.
ANYONE can get "snow news" from any radio TV or CELL PHONE. The POINT? There is no lack of coverage. It's everywhere.
So relax there JerseyShor...you may get some more snow before the winter is over, after all the ground hog says there 6 more weeks of winter. GGEEEEZZZZZ can no one take a joke anymore...did you not see my LOL in my reply?????
