It's that time - new B98.5 playlist

With B98.5's money contest comes a new playlist. Normally, they change the playlist a day or so before the contest starts. However, they waited a week to do so. I was under the impression that they were going to wait until Steve and Vikki arrived before they tinkered with anything.

Even with everything they have been doing different with the theme weekends lately, everything is still so predicatable. Even if the equinoxes were not marked on the calendar (and no one had any clue when they were), you can always predict when the playlist at B98.5 will change.

WSB-FM is re-doing the playlist to make sure they continue to be voted "Number 1 To Listen To At Work." Who wants to hear the same sixteen songs at the dentist office they heard six months ago?

B98.5 is playing something new?? Next thing you'll have me believe is Boy Bob bought new Easter outfits for the teddies.......
I suppose this only means different Elton John songs......what a waste of radio spectrum!!

Since the demise of Peach/Lite, who would be Number Two? Muzak? Especially since no one seems to listen to WJZZ anymore.

Point being, what's the point of being #1 by default? Although I am noticing more and more places programming their background music with XM/Sirius.

I can see it now: ROCK100.5 - NUMBER ONE TO NOT LISTEN TO AT WORK! Project/CC will lose again here, too.

I have listened tp TrueOldies a few times and find it odd.Music ok but a little old for me. Seems a little erratic in their playlist. Louis Armstrong followed by david Bowie(8:00 pm tomight)? I can see this peaking within a year at best. Imus in the morning, Scott Shannon all day, please. This is a station of washed up NY jocks. No life left in either of them.
