It's that time of year again...

I'm guessing 96.1 WSRS will be the first to go all Christmas, presumably sometime next week. Magic 106.7 will probably go the week before Thanksgiving.

Christmas/Holiday music has been on WMJX-HD2 for 10 or more days instead of their normal smooth jazz programming. You may be right that the primary WMJX signal will go holiday closer to Thanksgiving.

Good call! I think 96.1 started today.

Everyone's good friend, Joseph Gallant, posted on the other site that WSRS flipped Friday afternoon at 3pm.

In years past, 98-9/WORC-FM would also flip at some point but they just changed formats a week or two ago to Nash Icon country. I have no idea if there is a Nash Icon Christmas format. Wouldn't listen if there was or not.

Don't know if there is a Nash Icon Christmas format but I was listening to Dave O yesterday and he said they have a link on their website if you want Holiday/Christmas music. I'm thinking they will just sprinkle tunes in as Christmas gets closer and if listeners want wall-to-wall they will either need to listen to the on-line link or change the station.

I'm surprised Lite Rock 105 out of Providence hasn't gone yet. They're usually do before any of the Boston stations.

And now Magic has gone Christmas, and the HD2 has gone Magic! You gotta love it!

And you can add 94.9-WHOM to the Holiday list—noted them yesterday (Friday) around 4:45pm (no idea what time they actually switched).
