Well not really, but you would think so given the amout of TV news hype with the latest winter storm. Why do they freak out like it is the end of the world when it snows? Don't they realize how stupid they look when they do their foolish reporting?

WE think they're stupid. The advertisers don't!

And it wasn't that long ago when Tabloid 10 overhyped that one storm and it wound up being a bust. But, not before jettisoning WCAU past WPVI for top spot in the sweeps, which I believe was the first time since the Facenda era.<P ID="signature">______________

I don't think many people really consider it "looking stupid." There's a chicken and egg scenario at work--is it the stations feeding the frenzy, or reflecting the attitudes of many in the region...or both?
