I just read Conan's letter to "the People of Earth" (
http://www.tmz.com/) in which he expresses his disappointment, and resistance to moving his show to 12:05.
Considering the enormity of this fiasco...I think it's fair to call it the biggest programming fiasco in network television history - not to mention the way it is playing out in public, I would be absolutely
shocked if Comcast doesn't fire Zucker and his minions once they take over.
Talk about "damaged goods" - I can't see either Leno or Conan succeeding with the
Tonight Show at this point. Either way, it will be a death-watch...kind of like the entertainment version of Chrysler. Maybe Comcast should step aside, and let Fiat buy the network.
