Although the markets are increasingly becoming one big conglomerate, the triplets are on in both LA and San Diego.
As for Leykis, being on second-tier AM stations with a mish-mash format doesn't count. Being on a 100kW FM with a consistent format that doesn't go out under bridges does. As for Leykis' format, if you want to hear unpredictability, listen to any of the hosts on KFYI attack the democrats. New issue, same rant. Riveting. Ask John and Ken how their predictability is doing for them in LA; Leykis is beating them in men. Nothing personal, I just happen to think there's room for more than one kind of talk. Besides, every time a new country or AC station pops up, people don't say "guaranteed to fail" with the same certainty they do when Leykis comes on.
