It's Your Call

Here's a game we can all play that meets the criteria of broadcasting involvement.

You start with a call that resides in your market, near you, that you've been associated with in your career, or simply for which you have a special place in your heart. The next person responds with a set of calls that meet the same criteria, only in those set of calls one letter must be the same as the one that preceded it. Both radio and television facility call signs are considered a valid play.

For example, and from my market, I submit KEES from Gladewater, Texas. The next person could potentially offer WEEI from Boston. Whatever works for you, as long as one call letter matches the previous submission.

It's Your Call, so here we go.

KOOI Jacksonville, Texas

WDIS Norfolk, MA.

It was something pretending to be a radio station. Gave new meaning to the term "Radio Shack". I "worked" there back around 1996 or so.

KLRA, Little Rock, AR

My favorite country station during my three years in Arkansas. Sadly, it was bought by the owners of WINS New York for the purpose of taking it off the air, eliminating a source of co-channel interference.
