Is there any way we can convince our little brethren on the Panhandle to bug off our area? We have no interest in reading about the 300 watt AM in Ft. Walton flipping formats from reading obituaries to teen monster movie soundtracks from the 50's.
Can I get a second?
 
I will second part of that but the board is not just for Jacksonville people....there is plenty going on west of Jacksonville too. I agree there is a lot of crap on here that doesn't belong...I too don't care about format changes of 300 watt AM stations and about DXing the broadcast band (I have said this before on this board many times)......but if it is a bona fide post about something "west of Jacksonville", I don't think you should complain.

Mr. Tater, or should I just call you Dick? Love your style, opinions and no nonsense approach. But fear not, our resident panhandle radio wannabe Rob will not take kindly to your suggestion. Too much crap west of Jax.............can us panhandle folks post to the Mobile, Alabama group?

so far, the only threads i've seen about the "pan can handle" (thank you, k rock)

1)Coast 100.3 moving to 93.3 (still under a C.P.)
2)panama city FM/MW (anyone guess how long BOB will last?)
3)my posts about 102.1 going off the air (and leaving it open for DX)
4)and some FWB posts about 98.1 sale and various posts.

Not so fast upstate...........it doesn't say one word about Pensacola, Ft. Walton Beach, Navarre, Deston, etc....west of Jax ain't much happening except that Robbie amuses us from time to time.......

I stand corrected.

Maybe this needs to be the "Jax" board, and everything else should be discussed on the Florida board. Hell, I don't care. I enjoy the rantings of our favorite clock radio DX'er sometimes.
